2 Peter 1:3 …as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us to glory and virtue

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

God is a Spirit. He transacts business in the Spirit realm. He is not physical like we are.

How do we connect in the Spirit realm with what He has for us?

Jesse Duplantis once spoke of a vision of a warehouse in Heaven filled with human body parts. He asked what this was. He was told that they were unclaimed parts waiting for people to claim them.

God created us and made provision for us. He made these provisions before He created the earth. Everything physical and spiritual is released from the Spirit realm. God desires to give us more than we desire.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Whatever (whatsoever) things.  Not just spiritual things. God trusts us with our own decision to pray. We are to believe that we receive; then we will have them.

We must first receive in the Spirit Realm before it’s manifested in the physical. You must receive it before it becomes manifest to you. We are blessed with ALL spiritual blessings.

God first created the invisible and then spoke things into existence and they became physical.

By lack of knowledge we stay down and complain. Healing is the children’s bread. We can’t afford to remain in sickness. We have to claim our healing. When you receive it, you shall be it.

2 Peter 1:3 …as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us to glory and virtue.

His divine power has done His work in us. Notice it is past tense – HAS given. The divine power has given us.  We have it already.  He has given us all things pertaining to life and godliness and given us knowledge of Him.

How do we receive into the program?

If we have need of something, desire it.  Some have given up and if you’ve given up there is no desire.  If you have a strong desire, you will move Heaven and earth to get it. If there is a will, there is a way.

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord,
and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

God gives us the desires of our heart. If there is no desire you have a big problem.

Desire à push until manifested.  Don’t give up your desire.

Psalm 145:19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.

Proverbs 23:18 For surely there is a hereafter,
and your hope will not be cut off.

Expectation is not cut off.  Hope leads to desire, the end of everything you are going through. Expectations of receiving are not cut off. God will fulfill the desires of those who love Him.

You must have knowledge of what you want. Study God’s Word. Know what God promises. Maintain good associations and environment, good connections, and exposure. Iron sharpens iron. Make sure your desire is based on God’s Word.

We walk by faith and not by sight. Exposure through God’s Word results in desire, desire for righteousness, and that is not cut off.  Never give up desire in God.

1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

Jabez asked God to enlarge his territory. Jesus said to ask in His Name. We can ask God, in faith, to enlarge our territory in West Hurley, or in our personal ministry.

John 14:13-14 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Ask in faith. The miracle can come out, it’s as simple as ABC – just ask.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

This does not say to fast and then ask in prayer and believe.  It just says to ask and believe. We make things so complex. Fasting has its place. Ask and believe is a simple principle.

Phil 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Be anxious (careful) for nothing, but in EVERYTHING, with prayer and supplication and thanksgiving in all things.  We will have whatsoever we ask.  The peace of God surpasses all understanding. If we don’t understand this, we grow old with anxiety.

We walk by faith and not by sight. God does His business in the Spirit. We must switch from looking at physical circumstances to the spiritual.

John 15:7-8 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Ask in prayer. Instead of watching TV, take time to pray.  Prayer is telling the Father in simple terms. We don’t need flowery language or learned arguments to impress God. Just simple prayer.  Father, I love you. You are awesome. This is my need. Your Word says …

Simple, child-like prayer works miracles. We connect in the realm of the Spirit and we draw from the Spirit realm by asking.

Faith is the vehicle to miracles.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

What is not of faith is a sin. Faith is simple – believe the Word of God. If God says it, He will do it.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith comes by hearing – and hearing by the Word of God.

Matthew 17:20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Act in faith.  Jesus cast the demon from the boy. The disciples were not able to cast out this demon. They asked why their prayers weren’t answered.  It was because of unbelief.

Not every prayer works. Not all prayers are prayers of faith. Sometimes it’s just noise.  We can have God’s Word in our head, but have doubt in our heart. If we don’t believe, our prayers won’t work. Do not doubt in your heart. Protect your heart from unbelief and doubt. Don’t believe your circumstances, what you hear and see. Believe the Word of God.

If you look at the conditions in your circumstance your faith will die. Set your mind on what God has said. Receive what God has said in your spirit. Pray in faith. Ask in faith.

The mustard seed is the smallest seed. God will increase our faith. God can answer our prayers in ways we can’t imagine. We increase our faith by hearing and saying the Word of God. Nothing is impossible to you.  With God your impossibility will become possible.

Have faith in God, focus on what God has promised. Don’t concentrate on the problem. Don’t buy into the lie of satan. Reverse your focus from your circumstance to focusing on God.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
and every tongue which rises against you in judgment
 you shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is from Me,”
 says the Lord.

Speak the truth of God into your circumstance. It is a battle, a fight. Release what you believe from the Scriptures and then you receive in the Spirit. We do not need huge faith.

Pastor Danquah said that we turn the light on with a switch – electricity is controlled by a switch. The electricity is powerful, but it is controlled by a tiny switch. The switch is like our mustard seed of faith. If we tap into that, God provides the power to help us in our circumstance.  We just need a small touch to bring big power. A small connection of faith will bring big power. Don’t let the enemy fool you into thinking your problem is bigger than God can handle.

Jesus defeated the demons. They have no control over your life, no power over you unless you let them.  Don’t say the negative. Pray in faith and God will answer.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

What is impossible in the natural, your faith will make possible.  Whatever your problem is, headaches, foreclosure, job, finances – everything is possible to you.

When you speak negatively, it destroys your faith.

God gives us wisdom and understanding. God’s desire is for people to believe in Him and then He gets glory. He is looking for people to stand in His five-fold ministry. He gives you power to make wealth and wants you to release faith to step into your destiny.

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Ask in faith, without doubting. Sometimes we feel we have legitimate doubts. But have faith in your heart and your spirit. Don’t allow doubt to move from your head to your spirit. Use the Word of God to overcome doubt.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

We walk by faith and not by sight. Stay in faith for what you pray for. Don’t listen to words of doubt and unbelief.

Sometimes what you pray for takes time to manifest. It is a process. Don’t let the first obstacle you confront pull you from faith. It is a process. God gives us instructions and as we carry out the first instruction, He gives us the next step in the process.

Turn your problem into a process. The devil is out to create a divided mind. Fight doubt with passion. It is unbelief that cancels our faith and negates prayer. The way to fight unbelief is to speak God’s Word to yourself. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.

Get CD’s of praise music and God’s Word to fill your mind with the truth. Go from A to B, even if you have to face fights. Stick to God’s promise and know that He will fulfill it even if you have to face a few fights to get to the fulfillment. Fight the good fight of faith.  Stay in faith, believing.

God will take us from our Egypt into the Promised Land. As we walk toward our Promised Land there will be obstacles.  Moses and the people came to the Red Sea. They were stuck between the Egyptian army and the Red Sea.  Moses stayed in faith and God parted the Red Sea.

Before our prayer requests are manifested, we need faith. If we have unbelief, the angels sent to answer our prayers, will be sent back.

Confess faith to build up faith. The more we speak the truth and speak our faith, the greater our faith grows.

Psalm 45:1 My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Declare God’s Word. Angels are assigned to carry out His will.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Receive what you have from God. Receiving comes before having. Receive with your spirit. It first manifests in the Spirit and then it becomes physical. Be excited for what you see in the Spirit realm. Don’t wait for physical manifestation before you believe it.  See yourself having what God has promised you and you will have it.

Before you are aware, God created your miracle.

Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,  having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

We are blessed with ALL spiritual blessings.

Ephesians 3:20-21 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

God will do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can think are ask according to the power that WORKS IN US.

Put on a CD or video and give God praise and worship. Worship Him. He is worthy of our praises. When our praises go up, the blessings come down.  Every blessing He gives us turns into praise.  If you are blessing God, you build your faith, for your remember all the good He has done in your life.

Don’t sit down and wait for your request to come to your door. Go out and act in faith, do something toward your request. It is a process. If you need a new car, go out and look at cars. Do something that demonstrates your belief in God’s promise to you.

Your problem is not your supply, your problem is your faith.

Connect your small faith to the power of God.  You shall have what you say.

Hope this teaching blesses you.

God is so good.

About Heather Marsten

Welcome to Heather's Blog. I'm looking forward to meeting you and checking out your sites. I just moved about nine years of material over from another blog site, Xanga, who may close down mid-July. At first I was disappointed to make the move because I had a lifetime membership at Xanga and had to spend weeks transferring posts. But now I'm thrilled. Already I've met new bloggers and read many new websites. Blogging is a wonderful way to expand my horizons and garner new ideas. I'm a happily married mom of three young adults. My husband and I are proud to watch our children grow and venture out into the world. My daughter is still in college but my two sons have graduated. One has a job and the other just graduated and is in the process of finding a job in his field, physics. Anyone know of any jobs out there? I'm proud of our children and love watching them grow and mature. They've become fine, compassionate, and loving people. Empty nest? Nah, I'm too busy to let an empty nest bother me. Not enough hours in the day. My husband and I enjoy quiet time together and I have many interests to pursue - one of which is blogging :D I am a born-again believer and love God. As you read this blog, you will discover that Bible studies thrill me. There is so much wisdom contained between the covers of the Bible and I am fortunate to sit under the teachings of a remarkable pastor, Pastor Don Moore. Members of our church (Living Word Chapel in West Hurley, New York) are encouraged to teach and there are visiting pastors who stop by our church, I also study the Bible on my own and love sharing what I learn. One other passion is writing. My current work in process is a memoir. A scene from my memoir was published in a book called: Heavenly Company: Entertaining Angels Unaware - an anthology of angelic encounters compiled by Cecil Murphy. I'm hoping my memoir will encourage other survivors of abuse. I grew up in a home filled with abuse, including incest. For most of my life I was searching for something that would fill the void of not being loved by my parents. I tried many ways to find that love -- therapy, relationships, occult studies, and keeping my life so filled I had no way to think about my past. It was only when I discovered God that I was able to put the pieces of my life back together and walk forward in a joyous life. My nickname - wondering has changed from wondering where the heck God was in my life, to wondering what incredible adventure is going to happen next. I hope you enjoy my site. Please say hi, share some thoughts, and ask questions. I look forward to meeting you and checking out your sites. Have a blessed day. Heather
